The problem
Member churn is often quiet. People stop attending, a pass expires, and no follow-up happens because the task requires the front desk to create a list, write messages, and repeat the work every month. For many gyms, the lapsed-member list is valuable but underused.
What we did
We focused on the member data already available.
- Former members were segmented by the length of their absence and their previous training preferences.
- We prepared a win-back offer for owner approval before launch.
- Messages were sent in controlled waves so the front-desk team could identify returning members and understand the response.
What changed
The client-reported outcome was a 35% increase in monthly revenue after the reactivation campaign, with returning members contributing to the result. The campaign reached its first send within three weeks. It did not require a platform migration or a lead-generation campaign; it made systematic use of the member relationships the gym already had.
“Flowstart implemented a customer activation campaign in 3 weeks, which significantly increased gym attendance.”
